Alexandra Trusova, born on 23 June 2004 in Ryazan, is a figure skater known for her quadruple jumps. She won the World Junior Championships in 2018, performing two different quadruple jumps in one programme for the first time. At the senior level, she has earned medals at the Grand Prix, European, and Russian Championships. At the 2022 Beijing Olympics, she won silver, executing five quadruple jumps.
Trusova moved to Moscow to advance her career and studies journalism at Moscow State University. She is active on social media platforms such as Instagram, Telegram, and VK. In 2024, she married fellow figure skater Makar Ignatov. Her career is noted for technical innovation and persistence in women’s figure skating.
