She grew up in a small northern town and attended art school before enrolling in a programming course. In 2015–2016, after moving to St. Petersburg with her mother, she launched a YouTube channel featuring vlogs, personal stories, and answers to questions, quickly gaining hundreds of thousands of viewers. Her collaboration with blogger Yulik from 2017 to 2021 brought her widespread recognition through joint videos and stories.
Following their breakup, she expanded her audience by focusing on topics such as self-esteem, psychology, and everyday life. Dasha Kaplan, a 160 cm tall Russian living in St. Petersburg, maintains an active presence on YouTube, Instagram, and Telegram, representing those learning to accept themselves without filters.
