Emma Watson, born April 15, 1990, in Paris, is a British actress known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films (2001–2011). She has appeared in movies such as The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), The Bling Ring (2013), Beauty and the Beast (2017), and Little Women (2019). Watson graduated from Brown University in 2014 with a degree in English literature.
In 2014, she became a UN Goodwill Ambassador and launched the HeForShe campaign promoting gender equality. With over 70 million Instagram followers, she shares her activism and updates on film and environmental projects she is involved in as of 2025.
