Lena Katina (born October 4, 1984, Moscow) is a Russian singer and musician known as one of the most recognizable stars of Russian pop music in the 2000s. She began music studies in childhood, graduating from music school in piano and singing in a children's choir. At 17, in 2002, she joined the group t.A.T.u., recording hits such as "All the Things She Said," "Not Gonna Get Us," and "All About Us." The albums 200 km/h in the Wrong Lane and Dangerous and Moving achieved platinum status in Russia and Europe. The group gained international fame and placed third in Eurovision 2003 representing Russia.
