Maria Shumakova, born on April 19, 1989, in Moscow, is a Russian theater and film actress. She graduated from the Shchepkin Higher Theatre School in 2010 and gained widespread recognition for her role as Natasha in the series Sweet Life (2014–2016), for which she gained 15 kg. Her notable works include leading roles in Second Sight (2016), Pregnancy Test 2 (2019), Grozny (2020), and appearances in Interns, Kitchen, and Trace. She performs at the Sovremennik and Lenkom theaters in St. Petersburg.
In 2025, Shumakova received an award for best female role and was named Honored Artist of St. Petersburg. She is married to Slava Gusev, a PR manager at Comedy Club Production, since 2022, and lives in St. Petersburg.
