Drea de Matteo, born January 19, 1972, in New York, is an American actress of Italian descent. She gained recognition for her role as Adriana La Cerva in the series The Sopranos, winning an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2004. She also appeared as Angela in Sons of Anarchy from 2008 to 2014 and took part in films such as Donnie Darko, The Matrix Reloaded, and series including Desperate Housewives and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
