Paulina Porizkova, born on April 9, 1965, in Prostějov, Czechoslovakia, is a Czech-American supermodel, actress, and writer. After emigrating to the United States as a child, she launched a modeling career that gained international recognition, becoming one of the first Eastern European models to achieve global fame. She worked with leading fashion brands and appeared on covers of prominent magazines, including the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
