Varvara Shmykova, born on March 1, 1994, in Moscow, is a Russian theater and film actress. She graduated from the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute in 2015 and joined the troupe of the Moscow Academic Theater named after Evgeny Vakhtangov, where she continues to work. Shmykova gained widespread recognition for her role as Lera in the popular TV series "Olga" (2016–2020).
Her notable works also include performances in "Pishcheblok," "Method," "Nadvoe," "Slovo Patsana. Krov na Asfalte," "Fisher," and "Kyberderevnya." She balances her theater career with roles in film and television, creating memorable characters across comedy and drama genres. Shmykova remains an active figure in Russian theater and television, participating in new projects and stage performances at the Vakhtangov Theater.
